Help us support veterans this holiday season
Join us in supporting the Veterans Empowerment Organization during November. The VEO’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for homeless veterans on their road to self-sufficiency. You can support them by donating men’s coats and winter wear at any of our upcoming events, including Saturday’s football game watch event.
Committee Spotlight: Community Service
We’re committed to giving back to our community! Our community service committee identifies organizations in need of assistance and encourages all of us to participate. It also enhances the visibility of Mississippi State in our local communities.
So what can you do to help?
- Participate in our community service events! We’ll highlight our community service efforts monthly in Hail State Highlights, our website, and our event communications. All you have to do is commit to joining us in making a difference!
- Have an event that should be on our radar? Send us an email with the necessary information and contact details for the event or organization.
Want to help? We’re looking for a few good volunteers!
We’re seeking members to join our committees for communications, community service, scholarship, student recruiting, senior alumni, and young alumni. Click here to fill out a form, and we’ll be in touch!
I’ve got a fever…
And the only prescription is more Queen Victoria!
We’re not just Bulldogs; we’re family. And when our family comes to town, we support them. Wear your maroon and join us in cheering on the Queen of our Court, Victoria Vivians, Friday, July 13. Follow the link for our group discount section behind the visitor’s bench.
Victoria and the Indiana Fever take on the Atlanta Dream at McCamish Pavilion at 7 p.m. Look for an announcement soon on a pregame gathering, too!
Committee Spotlight: Scholarship
Did you know we award scholarships to deserving students from Georgia attending Mississippi State? Our scholarship committee works throughout the year to raise funds to support this endeavor and selects the recipient each year.
So what can you do?
- Make sure soon-to-be high school seniors in your area that are considering MSU know about the program. Have them bookmark our website for more information.
- Donate to our scholarship fund! Make a tax-deductible donation to the MSU Foundation and specifically designate it for the “Atlanta, Georgia Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund.”
